peep-show

Peep Show is intended to be a combination of old and new media and technology. I took a set of images of 1950's pin-up girls and wrote a program that created a randomized curtain effect over a randomly selected image. By connecting an old coin-operated parking meter to the setup (using an Arduino board), I was able to make the "curtain" open a specified amount on each coin drop, revealing more and more of the image. Between coin drops, the curtain slowly closes. To see the peep show in action, you can watch the video below.
